Coturnix Quail Teens (3–6 Weeks Old) — Standard, Jumbo & Celadon Options
 
Want to skip the most fragile early chick stage while still having young birds to grow out? Our Coturnix quail teens are 3–6 weeks old, feathering in, active, and moving toward adult size. This is a great option for customers who want a faster path to a working covey without starting from hatch-day chicks.
 
We offer Coturnix teens in multiple options when available, including:
Standard Coturnix teens
Jumbo Coturnix teens
Celadon teens
Standard and jumbo Celadon varieties
 
Assorted colors and patterns
Teens may be available in assorted colors and sizes depending on our current hatch schedule, breeder rotation, and grow-out groups. Celadon teens come from blue/green egg layer lines and may be available in both standard and jumbo varieties when listed.

Sexing Expectations
Some teens may be feather-sexable, depending on the color variety and age of the bird. Other varieties are not feather-sexable, meaning sex cannot be reliably determined by feather pattern.
Unless a specific sexed option is listed in the dropdown menu, sex is not guaranteed.
 
What to Expect
No color guarantees. Teens are selected by the option purchased, not by exact feather color or pattern.
At this age, birds are still growing and developing. Feather color, pattern, size, and body shape may continue to change as they mature.
 
Before Pickup or Delivery
Please make sure your grow-out or adult housing is ready before your birds arrive. Coturnix teens need proper space, clean bedding or waste management, secure feeders and waterers, and protection from drafts, stress, and overcrowding.
If adding birds to an existing covey, we recommend having a quarantine or separation space ready before introducing new birds.
